Sharpie Jumping the 1.40M in Tryon, NC
Sharpie Jumping the 1.40M in Tryon, NC

I grew up in the show jumping world. There are many times in my life where I have felt more comfortable on a horse than with my feet on the ground. I have been blessed with the opportunities to ride amazing horses and show across the United Sates, in Canada, and Chile. I have competed in the Pony Jumpers up to 1.10M and placed Team Silver Medal at Pony Jumper Finals in 2015 and 2016 on my Pony Luna.

I have shown up to the Junior 1.45M heigh with Sharpie and compete in the High Junior Devision (1.30-1.45M) in shows across the United States.

Horses have taught me countless lessons through out my life that I continue to hold close. Communication, team work, responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, perseverance, and dedication, to name a few. Struggling through the lows of falling off every single round one week to winning every round showed me that sticking with it, always striving for improvement, and always learning something will pay off.

Riding ‘difficult’ horses has taught me to open my mind to others, and work to understand their perspective of the world. It shown me that being kind and understanding does not exclude firm direction and both are necessary in many situations.

I have learned to be calm and clear headed in extreme or emergency situations.

Horses proved a connection I have never found anywhere else. I will love the show jumping sport and horses my entire life.

Thank you to the Long Farms team that has supported me and all the amazing horses I have had in my life.
