Throughout my life I have collected identities like smooth or shiny rocks along a waterfall trail. I keep them all bumping against each other in bottom of my pocket as I walk a little further down this path.
Designer, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Rider, Kayaker, Seamstress, Writer, Artist, Student, Guide, Teacher, Naturalist, Engineer.
Each identity shouts over the others, looking to be heard and recognized among the rest, but I could not be whole or understood with one alone. I am a mosaic of the time, energy, and love I have invested into my life. I hope to never stop learning, discovering, and gathering rocks every step I take in this journey.
